Aisle Policy

To ensure fan safety and the enjoyment of events at the Carrier Dome, sitting or standing in the aisles, stairways or Vomitories is not permitted. Fans will be asked to return to their ticketed seats. Standing on metal bleachers, or chairs is also prohibited.

As a courtesy to others, guests are asked to refrain from walking down the aisles during play and the playing of the National Anthem.

Alcohol Policy

The Carrier Dome strives to maintain a safe, pleasant and family friendly environment for all of our patrons. The following policies have been established to promote the responsible use of alcohol by our fans.

• No alcohol is permitted to enter or leave the facility.
• Patrons must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Proper identification is required of all patrons, regardless of age, to purchase any alcoholic beverage.
• No more than two beers may be sold to any patron by concession stand personnel or concourse beer vendors
• No more than one beer may be sold to a student wearing a colored wristband. Students may not enter the Student Seating Section carrying more than one beer.
• Beer Lines will be closed at the conclusion of halftime.
• All alcohol must be poured into a plastic cup prior to leaving a suite.
• Disorderly behavior or violation of the alcohol policy will result in ejection from the Carrier Dome without refund. The Carrier Dome reserves the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time.


Certified service animals are welcome at the Carrier Dome. All other animals must be approved by management. 

Assisted Listening Devices

The Carrier Dome utilizes an assistive listening device system at non-concert events which augments the facility’s public address system for patrons with hearing loss. Patrons may stop by the Management Office location (lower concourse across from aisle 124), and obtain (at no charge) small, comfortable headsets in order to utilize this system.

Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

Automobile Assistance

Should a guest require automobile assistance during or after an event go to the Guest Service location (lower concourse across from aisle 107)

Baby Changing Stations

Baby changing stations are available in all restrooms in the stadium.

Bag Search

The Carrier Dome prohibits large bags and back packs from being brought into the stadium. All bags are subject to search upon entry and subject to additional search within the stadium. If patrons refuse to comply with this policy they will not be permitted into the building.

Banners & Signs

Guests are welcome to display hand-held banners or signs in the Stadium during events provided they are in good taste and comply with the following:

  • No derogatory comments or profanity
  • Do not impede another guest’s view of the playing field
  • No commercial content
  • Banners or signs cannot block stadium signage
  • Cannot contain sticks or poles

The Carrier Dome reserves the right and has sole discretion to permit or remove any sign or banner from the stadium at any time.


Galaxy Communications’ TK99 (99.5FM and 105.5AM) will serve as the flagship station for the Syracuse IMG Sports Marketing.

Bus Service

Shuttle buses leave from the front of Skytop Office Building on South Campus, Manley North Side Parking Lot, and Manley South Side Parking Lot and drops off at College Place. During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots. At the conclusion of an event, all patrons should be directed to College Place.


  • Shuttle buses leave from the front of Skytop Office Building, Manley North, & Manley South.
    Lots open 4 hours before kick-off. Shuttle service starts 30 minutes before Gates open.

  • Shuttle buses Drop off at College Place.

  • During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots.

  • At the conclusion of an event, all Shuttle patrons should be directed to College Place via Gates E, N, or P.

Men’s Basketball

  • Shuttle buses leave from Manley South & North lots.
    Lots open 3 hours before tip-off. Shuttle service starts when Gates open.

  • Shuttle buses Drop off at College Place.

  • During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots.

  • At the conclusion of an event, all Shuttle patrons should be directed to College Place via Gates E, N, or P.

Men’s Lacrosse

  • Parking is available in all West Campus lots, which open 3 hours before face-off.

Women’s Basketball & Women Lacrosse

  • Parking (which is free) is available in all West Campus lots.

Other Events

  • Contact the Carrier Dome Box Office at 315-443-2121for up to date information.

Cameras & Video

Personal cameras are permitted inside the Dome. Professional cameras with lenses 6 inches or longer & tripods will not be permitted unless you have a Photo/Press credential issued through the Carrier Dome.

With the exception of high school events, video cameras and video recording inside the Dome is prohibited.

GoPros and Selfie Sticks are prohibited

Comments, Compliments & Complaints

Fans with a comment, compliment or complaint may express it in person during any Carrier Dome event at our Guest Service location on the Lower Concourse at Aisle 107. Fans are encouraged to fill out a Carrier Dome Survey card to let us know how we are scoring. Fans can also email the Carrier Dome at, or contact the Management Office Monday –Friday at (315) 443-4634.

Credit Cards

MasterCard, American Express and Visa Credit Cards are accepted at all Carrier Dome Box Office Locations and Orange Shoppe Retail Locations.
• Credit Cards are accepted in Club 44, and the Executive Club Suite.
• Credit Cards are accepted at all Concession Stands inside the Carrier Dome.

The Carrier Dome has one passenger and one service elevator. Both elevators are located in the Southwest corner. The elevator can be accessed at the following locations:
• On the service level down the hallway from Stadium Control
• Lower concourse opposite aisles 103-104
• Upper concourse opposite aisle 304

Family Fun Zone - Basketball (Backcourt)

Located in the Dome back court area before every regular season men’s home basketball game, the Fun Zone includes Coaches vs Cancer basketball shoot-out, Otto the Orange, music, food, merchandise, and other fun and games.

Family Fun Zone - Football (Pre-Game Quad Activities)

The Football Family Fun Zone is located on the Quad and opens 3 hours before kickoff. All fans are welcome to enjoy the festivities including local bands, concessions, face painting, live pregame radio show, and the SU Marching Band.

Fan Code of Conduct

The Carrier Dome has established a "Fan Code of Conduct" for all of our season ticket holders, their guests and other fans who attend our games. We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of our fans, both in the stadium and in the parking lots we control around the stadium. We want all fans attending our games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion.

Stadium and parking lot staff will intervene to support an environment where all event patrons can enjoy the game. Fans attending games are required to refrain from the following behaviors:

Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field or court)
• Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption that result in rude or irresponsible behavior
• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature
• Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures
• Foul or abusive language or gestures
• Smoking in any area of the Carrier Dome
• Possession and/or use of illegal drugs or firearms
• Obscene, indecent or offensive clothing / signs
• Failing to comply with instructions from ushers, parking attendants, security or law enforcement
• Excessive standing – please be aware that when you stand, you block the view of the fans behind you. We do not wish to diminish your ability to cheer and enjoy the game; however, your continued standing can interfere with others’ ability to enjoy the game from their seats.

First Aid Room

The first aid room is located on the lower level concourse between aisles 101 & 102 on the south side of the Carrier Dome across from Gate A.

Guest Services

All guests with questions or concerns should visit the Guest Services location at aisle 107 on the lower level concourse. Guest Services is open when the Carrier Dome gates open. The friendly and knowledgeable Guest Service representative is available and happy to assist you with all questions, problems, and any other game day situations. Guest Services representatives are available to help our guests with directions and individual concerns to ensure a pleasant experience at the Carrier Dome. Guests should feel comfortable stopping by the Guest Service booth for general information, solutions and helpful service.


Additional Guest Services representatives are available throughout the Carrier Dome to assist with Guests concerns.

Housekeeping & Maintenance

The Carrier Dome seeks to provide an enjoyable game day experience for all fans. Guests can do their part to alert us with maintenance or housekeeping concerns that may create an unsafe or unpleasant environment. Please report any concerns to your nearest Usher, or Event Staff personnel, or visit our Guest Services location at Aisle 107. For your convenience, guests can also text Carrier Dome Management by texting "DOME44" followed by your Issue & Location to 69050 (standard message rates apply)

Lost & Found

Lost and found items are taken to Guest Services. All items are kept in the management office at the conclusion of the event.

The management office is located on the Lower Concourse (room 139) opposite aisle 123. The office is open during business hours 8:30am – 4:30pm. The management office is open during all Football and Men’s Basketball events.

The Carrier Dome is enforcing a no re-entry policy.


Restrooms are located on the lower and upper concourse on the north and south side of the building. There are no restrooms located in the east and west end zones.
• All restrooms are equipped with a baby changing tables
• All restrooms are handicap accessible

Smoking Policy
The Carrier Dome, along with the rest of the Syracuse University campus, is smoke and tobacco free.
· Smoking and tobacco use is prohibited both inside and outside the Carrier Dome.
· The smoke/tobacco-free policy includes all parking lots and garages used for events.
• “Smokeless” e-cigarettes are prohibited in the Carrier Dome.

Stadium Seats
Syracuse University stadium seats are available to all season ticket holders. All orders must be placed online at or Carrier Dome Box Office at 315.443.2121 (option 4).
Guest Services can handle any game day seat-related issues, including broken seats, dirty or vandalized seats, missing seats, wrong location, how to order, etc.
NOTE: Orders must be placed before NOON EST on the THURSDAY before a home football event to have the seat installed for the upcoming football game. Any order placed after the deadline will be installed the following week.
